Installation Instructions

The easiest method for installing Ubuntu 25.10 in a virtual machine is to use the Ubuntu distribution CD.

  1. Select the Ubuntu to install. Choose the installation image for the Ubuntu Desktop or Live Server version.
  2. Insert the Ubuntu 25.10 CD/DVD into the CD-ROM drive.
  3. Power on the virtual machine.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
