VMware Tools in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host
No installation of VMware Tools is required. The OVA file of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host version 7.3.5 and later includes open-vm-tools inside a system container. The image is configured to run open-vm-tools automatically and start the service via systemd.
