Installation Instructions for NeoKylin Linux Advanced Server 6
To install NeoKylin Linux Advanced Server 6 in a virtual machine you can use the standard NeoKylin distribution CD or DVD. The following installation instructions are for standard distribution CD or DVD.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, verify that the following tasks are complete:
- Read General Installation Instructions for All VMware Products.
- When creating the virtual machine, do not attempt to use BusLogic SCSI adapter. NeoKylin Linux Advanced Server 6 does not include a driver for the adapter.
Installation Steps
- Insert the NeoKylin Linux Advanced Server 6 installation CD or DVD into the CD-ROM drive.
- Power on the virtual machine to start installing NeoKylin Linux Advanced Server 6.
- Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
- Install VMware Tools.
